The boys in Mr. Russell's 5th Class had a super time learning about SHARKS! The class Skyped with marine biologist Jillian Morris, who is also the founder of Sharks4Kids, which is located in The Bahamas, in the USA.

The boys learned about sharks and how they swim, and about different kids of sharks. They got to learn about shark anatomy, and also about how important that sharks are to the oceans. Sharks are now an endangered species, with 100 million - that's 100, 000, 000 - being killed each year. The boys learned about many of the reasons that this is happening. Jillian also took lots of questions from the boys about sharks and their characteristics!
