Welcome to our Home School Liaison pages on the St. Stephen's school website!

Mr. Fahy is our Home School Liaison Teacher. Mr. Fahy can be contacted on 085-2766982 . The HSCL room will be open in the mornings between 9:00am and 9:30am, and again in the afternoons from 1:30pm to 2:30pm. Feel free to call in for a chat, a cup of tea or coffee, or to discuss any concerns that you may have. Our ‘HSCL Room’ is the base for our Home School Liaison and parents are always welcome to drop in for friendly chat. During the previous school years, we have had many courses running, for example, yoga, cookery, computers and craft.

Home School Newsletters are generally sent out several times a year with news of what's going on. Read the September 2017 Newsletter here! And you can read about some tips to help with your son's school attendance here.

Mr. Fahy also looks after the Maths for Fun! scheme with the pupils from 2nd class upwards, along with our volunteer parents who so kindly gave their time to help out with the Maths for Fun! And Mr. Fahy also runs the "Science for Fun!" programme, again with the help of volunteer parents who give so generously of their time for the benefit of the boys in our school.
