Waterford and Ireland were battered by two storm fronts at the beginning of March 2018. A combination of a storm system and an air flow from Siberia meant that over 50cm of snow fell in Waterford over 2 days. It was the biggest snow storm in a generation, and meant that the roads were impassable. On the plus side, it gave everyone a chance to get out in the snow and have lots of fun! People made igloos, snowmen, had snowball fights, and generally enjoyed themselves. Our school was a winter wonderland, with the snow over knee deep in the yard. On Friday, March 2nd, we took photos of the grounds covered in a blanket of white. Check them out in the gallery below:
