- St. Stephen's De La Salle BNS

Mr. Russell's 5th Class travelled to the De La Salle Pastoral Centre in Castletown, Co. Laois, on Tuesday, March 12th 2019, to present their Lasallian Project "De La Salle: Then and Now" for judging!

There were De La Salle schools from all of Ireland entered in the Lasallian Competition 2019 - but St. Stephen's was the ONLY primary school taking part. The boys were delighted to finish as winners in the class category and receive a lovely plaque for our school! The class also received a personalised certificate each for participating.

The boys enjoyed some lovely sunshine and took a tour of the monastery, and a relaxing nature walk around the grounds before lunch. 5th Class all enjoyed a wonderful day out in Castletown, and both ourselves in St. Stephen's and the boys thank the Brothers for the warm welcome and hospitality that was extended to everyone on the day.
