Miss Byrne's 4th Class 2018/2019 attended a wonderful Junior Achievement / LEAP event at the WIT School of Business on Wednesday, May 22nd, 2019. Minister John Halligan opened the event at the WIT, where there were 8 frogs (local entrepreneurs). Each school that was there on the day presented their project in front of 2 frogs! The frogs had €1000 to invest in each business, and the boys had to negotiate with the frogs and make a deal giving away a percentage of their business for cash! All the boys in Miss Byrne's class made great deals with the frogs and were careful not to let the frogs buy any more than 50% of their business! To top it all, the "Creative Enterprises" group WON Best Business Plan! WOW! Well done to all the boys who took part, and a special well done to the boys from Creative Enterprises!
