Formerly known as "Skype-A-Thon", the 2019 Microsoft Global Learning Connection took place over the two days of Tuesday and Wednesday, November 5th and 6th. Mr. Russell's 5th Class joined Mr. Cerullo's 5th Grade Class in Tuckerton, New Jersey, USA for a Mystery Skype on the Tuesday, and took part in a global game of Kahoot on Skype on the Wednesday. The 2019 Kahoot Cup featured classes from Peru, Nigeria, Russia, England, Wales, Israel, Argentina, Spain, Serbia, USA, Ireland, Hungary, and Mexico all playing the same quiz at the same time. The boys performed fantastically well, and secured 17 of the top 20 spots - including all of the top 5!!! Well done to all our boys and thanks to Mr. Steve Auslander in Indiana, USA for organising such a huge activity and inviting our boys to be a part of it! We have a few photos below:
