In 2005, the Paired Reading Project involved parents reading one-to-one with pupils in our school.

The project ran twice a week for a period of six weeks and 1st and 2nd classes took part. The boys really enjoyed the books and made considerable progress at reading.

The parents felt it was a very worthwhile project and gained an insight into the value of reading. They enjoyed the experience and seeing the boys gain in confidence!
