A real piece of history here - 6th Class went to visit the Waterford Crystal factory on the Cork Road in 2007. The factory is no longer there, having been demolished in 2014. The new "House of Waterford Crystal" is now located on The Mall.

While 6th Class had their tour, they got to cut some glass too. Check out some real history in the gallery below, with photos of the class on their tour of the old factory:
