We had a great time celebrating World Book Day 2018 in St. Stephen's - despite the celebrations having to take place after the actual date because of the snow storm of 2018! As always, the festivities were planned to open up the benefits of reading to everyone - and everyone had a great time as every class celebrated books, reading and all that goes with it!

* Miss Byrne's Class as Book Characters: Miss Byrne's Junior Infants dressed up as their favourite book characters and brought in books to read!

* Mrs. Breen's 1st Class: Mrs. Breen's 1st Class brought in their favourite books to read!

* Buddy Reading - 4th Classes and boys in the Pre-School: Mr. O'Sullivan's and Beglin's 4th Classes visited the boys in the pre-school classes to talk about books and to read books and stories to the youngest boys in our school!

* Buddy Reading Mr. Russell's 5th Class and Miss Robinson's Senior Infants: Mr. Russell's 5th Class visited Miss Robinson's Senior Infants to talk about books and to read books and stories to the younger boys!

* Buddy Reading Mr. Fitzgerald's 5th Class and Miss McGovern's Senior Infants: Mr. Fitzgerald's 5th Class visited the boys in Miss McGovern's Senior Infants to talk about books and to read books and stories to the younger boys in Senior Infants!
