Andrew Harrington, who works in W.I.T. and is a bat enthusiast, visited our class on Monday, March 14th, to give us a talk on bats!

Andrew talked about the many myths surrunding bats, showed us the kinds of places that bats like to live in, and spoke to us about the different kinds of Irish bats. He also brought in some dead bats for us to look at - and to hold! Andrew also brought in bat boxes, and told us how bats find their way around using echolocation.

It was a very interesting and informative talk - and we think we'll have to go on one of Andrew's bat walks in the summer! Check out some photos from the talk below:
