- St. Stephen's De La Salle BNS

We were all so proud in June 2013, when St. Stephen's De La Salle was awarded our first EVER Green Flag! The hard work put in by Mrs. Breen and all the boys on the Green Schools Committee was finally rewarded as An Taisce recognised our school's efforts to reduce waste and recycle more.

In May 2015, Mr. Morris, Mrs. Breen and two boys from the Green Schools Committee travelled to Kilkenny after 2 years of hard work towards gaining an energy flag - and our school was awarded OUR SECOND GREEN FLAG!! We are all so proud of Mrs. Breen and the boys on the Green Schools Committee for their continued efforts, and of our school, for now being able to say we have two Green Flags!
