- St. Stephen's De La Salle BNS

At St. Stephen's, we try to foster a love of our national games. Hurling is the fastest ball game in the world and judging by the recent broadcasts by Sky Sports in the UK, its' popularity is on the rise! Br. Frank and Peter Galvin from the De La Salle GAA Club organise hurling leagues in the yard after school, often assisted by some of the teachers, while coaches from the club regularly take the junior classes for coaching sessions in hurling and Gaelic Football. The club also grants the school generous access to the club's grounds at Cleaboy for school activities.
