On Tuesday, Feburary 10th, 2015, our school's Indoor Hurling team were victorious in the Roinn A Group 2 Indoor Hurling Competition which took place in the Cill Barra Sports Centre. The competition was run over the course of two blitzes, with the first blitz taking place the previous week. In our first round of matches we recorded victories over St. Paul’s and St. Saviour’s and lost narrowly to St. Declan’s and Mount Sion. In our second blitz we played Ferrybank, Glór na Mara, St. Paul’s and St. Saviour’s and having won these matches we emerged as group winners.

The victory was even more encouraging considering five of our ten players are eligible next year also, as they are currently in 3rd class. Well done to all the panel and to Mr. Fitzgerald!
