On Tuesday February 9th, 2016, our school’s indoor hurling team were victorious in the Roinn A Group 2 Indoor Hurling competition, which took place in the Cill Barra Sports Centre. The competition was run over the course of two blitzes, with the first blitz taking place the previous week. In our first round of matches we recorded victories over Gaelscoil na nDéise and Holycross and lost narrowly to St. Declan’s and Gaelscoil Phort Láirge. In our second blitz, we played Ferrybank, St. Paul’s and Gaelscoil na nDéise, once again, and having won these matches we emerged as group winners.

This is the second year in a row we have won this competition. Well done to all the players involved!!
