Mr .Casey's 5th Class took a thrilling Walking Tour of Waterford with Stephen from Fadó on Thursday, April 30th!

The 5th Class boys started their tour at Reginald's Tower and learned about the Irish flag and Thomas Francis Meagher's connection to the flag. The class went on to learn about the Australian and New Zealand flags, Greece, Mexico, South Africa, America and Italy. All the while, Stephen told stories linking tribes in these countries to our city of Waterford! Mr. Casey's Class especially loved the story of Crazy Horse and Sitting Bull and the defeat of Custer at the Battle of Little Big Horn - and had lots of fun playing the parts!
