Mr. Russell's Class visited the Reptile Zoo on Tuesday, December 22nd, 2015!

The Reptile Zoo was part of Winterval, and was located in City Square. It was a thrilling experience! They got to see all sorts of lizards - including salamanders, a ball python which we were all able to touch, a tortoise who weighed 17 stone (that's more than Mr. Russell!!), an Emperor Scorpion - and a tarantula, which only Mr. Russell was allowed to hold, because of the law that states that anyone under the age of 18 is not allowed to hold a venomous animal. He wasn't as brave once the tarantula was nesting in the middle of his hands!!!
