We enjoyed a Skype all about endangered penguins and the conservation of the oceans.

Tamlyn joined us from SANCCOB in South Africa to talk to us the harm people are causing to the oceans. People are not only polluting the seas, it is putting animals in terrible danger, as they don't realise the problems that plastic can cause. They can swallow plastic straws, bottle caps, and other plastic things, or get caught up in plastic fishing lines, meaning that they can't swim to safety. It was an eye opening Skype lesson, and we're all going to be more aware of plastic, and we're going to reduce, reuse and recycle whenever we can. Steve the Penguin joined us on screen too, as Tamlyn took our questions about penguins and other sea birds that are looked after by SANCCOB.

Check out some highlights from our Skype with Tamlyn from SANCCOB in the video below!
