Farmer George visited St. Stephen's in autumn 2015 with something egg-citing! He brought chick eggs and an incubator with him. The eggs lived in St. Stephen's for a few weeks, in an incubator, which looked after the eggs like a mother hen would. We set up a live video stream so we could keep a watchful eye on them! This egg-cellent project was sponsored by our absolutely wonderful Parents' Association, to whom we are very grateful! (Read more about many more of the amazing activities undertaken by the Parents' Association in our school - click here!)
The eggs hatched into beautiful chicks on October 6th, 2015 - and we kept an eye on the beautiful little chicks on our live webcam! You can see photos of the eggs, the eggs beginning to hatch, the newly hatched chicks, and their new home on the farm, in the gallery below! And we've added video highlights where you can see the eggs in the incubator, the chicks as they grew up in our school - and where they live now on the farm!!
